With the Day.io Kiosk, your employees clock in on a tablet fixed at the workplace, with complete security and advanced technology featuring a high degree of facial recognition accuracy.
It is possible to register several devices to be used with the Kiosk (you can review the steps in this article). And now, you can monitor and manage the devices that are registered in your company!
To do this, just follow the steps below:
1. From your computer, use an account with Administrator permission to log in to the Panel: https://admin.oitchau.com.br/
2. Access the upper right menu, where your photo or initials are, and select the Company Settings option:
3. Select the Kiosk Settings tab:
From this panel, employees with permission will be able to remotely manage the advanced settings of each Kiosk device directly through the web.
Main capabilities for individual devices:
By clicking any row of a Kiosk in the dashboard, a side panel will display all available settings and their current statuses.
- Users with permission can change these settings, which are synchronized in real time with the device.
- The display rules follow exactly the same logic as the Kiosk app (dependencies between configs, device type, offline, etc.).
- Name: unique identification of the device for better management
- Ambient light level: accuracy (Low / Medium / High / Super High)
- Location: select the location linked to the device
- Similar faces (On / Off)
- Filter by location (On / Off)
- Liveness detection (On / Off)
- Sync biometric registration images to Kiosk (On / Off)
- Time validation (On / Off)
- Touchless (voice command) (On / Off)
- Automatic classification (Rep mode) (On / Off)
- Custom location (On / Off)
Important: From now on, the above settings will only be made via the Web, so there is no longer a need to configure each device individually where the Kiosk is installed.
It is possible to select several Kiosks and use the Configure devices action.
The side panel displays all settings with default states of a newly registered device.
When saving, the settings are applied to all selected devices.
In addition, you can monitor the following information in this panel:
- UUID (unique identification of the device)
- Brand and model of the registered device
- Version of the registered App
- Operating system version
- Plans registered in the App (clock-in or timesheet)
- Last synchronization (of images)
- Last successful synchronization
- Device registration date (when the token was registered on the device)
- Location linked to the device
- Number of employees registered (in the company, not just on the device)
- Number of biometric failures on the device (based on the number of people with facial biometrics registered)
You can access all identification information of the Kiosk in the Settings tab in the app on the tablet.
