When enabled by your company, the Clear punches feature lets you hide punches that shouldn’t count.
It doesn’t delete the record but removes it from today’s list, so you can submit the correct time. Use it if you punched at the wrong time or need to reset your records.
Key actions or configuration
- Open Today and Clear all punches
- In the Day.io app, go to Today.
- The CLEAR ALL option appears only when your company has enabled this feature.
- Tap CLEAR ALL. A confirmation window appears, tap again in Clear all to hide every punch for the day.

- Tap the punch you want to remove.
- On the bottom sheet, tap Clear next to the recorded time.
- Record the correct punch
- After clearing, tap the appropriate position (Entry, break Start, break End or Exit) and submit a punch adjustment request.
