The Super Punch employee view centralizes all punch management in a single screen, allowing leaders to review daily records, identify pending items, manage absences, apply bulk actions, and validate punches before closing the period.
This screen is typically used during period review and closing and is available to users with permission to manage attendance and employee punches.
1. View the Timesheet Report
Click View reports in the top-right corner of the screen, or
Go to Reports > Payroll report.
Select:
the employee
the date range
Click Generate to create the report.
Example: commonly used for final review before payroll closing.
2. Understand Super Punch color indicators
Super Punch uses colors to make punch status easy to identify:
Green
Validated punches.
No action required.
Yellow
Pending punch adjustment requests awaiting approval.
Red
Invalid punches (Punches outside the scheduled working hours).
Missing
The employee did not register a punch at that expected time slot.
3. Create absence requests directly from Super Punch
In addition to the Requests area, absences can be created directly from the timesheet:
In the Paid Absence column, locate the desired date.

Fill in the request details:
Select the absence category (Medical, Overtime, etc.).
Click Confirm to submit the request.
Example: useful for registering retroactive absences directly in the timesheet.
4. Approve, decline, or cancel absence requests
Absence requests appear in the Absence column with a calendar icon.
A blue indicator shows how many requests are pending on that date.
Click the icon to open the request details.
Use the available buttons:

The selected action is applied immediately.
5. Apply bulk actions
Super Punch allows actions to be applied to multiple days at once:

Punches out of order display:
A warning icon next to the punch
An informational message at the top of the screen
These alerts help quickly identify inconsistencies.
8. View punch change history
You can review the change history for each punch position:
Click on the punch position you want to inspect.
Click the clock icon.
The history may include:
New punch — when the punch was created
Assign punch — when the punch type was changed
