How to download multiple reports
The Download multiple reports option allows you to generate the Clock Ins Report for multiple employees at the same time. The download can include the entire company or be limited to a branch, team, department, or cost center.
To generate the report:
- Click Download multiple reports;
- In the search field, enter the name of the branch, team, department, or cost center;
- Select the corresponding result:
- All members, to include all employees;
- The desired team, department, cost center, or branch, to limit the report;
- Under Select date range, select the desired period;
- Under Format, select the file format;
- Under Include columns, choose which information should appear;
- When necessary, select the additional options:
- Show inactive employees: includes employees who have already been deactivated/terminated;
- Hide all supervisors: removes supervisors from the generated reports;
- Print all on the same file: combines the selected reports into a single file. Otherwise, each individual report will be exported as a separate file;
- Click Confirm to start generating the report.
The multiple report download can include a period starting no more than four months before the current date. For example, on 07/28, the earliest available start date will be 03/28. The system prevents dates earlier than this limit from being selected. If you need to export a longer period, contact our Support team.
What is the difference between the Clock Ins Report and the Payroll report?
The Clock Ins Report displays the complete list of punches recorded by the employee during the selected period, including records that were later corrected. It does not organize punches by classification, such as Entry, Exit, or Break, nor does it display the attendance rules applied.
The Payroll report displays only valid punches that have been classified within the Schedule, as well as the rules applied and the total Worked Hours. Pending or invalid records, as well as records related to adjustment requests that have not yet been approved, do not appear in this report.
This difference also explains why punches displayed in the app, the Payroll report, and Super Punch may not be the same as those found in the Clock Ins Report:
- The Clock Ins Report works as a complete history of the punches that were recorded;
- The Payroll report displays the records that were classified to make up the employee's Schedule;
- A punch may appear in the Clock Ins Report but not in the other views when it is not classified or valid for the Schedule;
- Punches that were corrected or replaced may also remain in the Clock Ins Report as part of the history.
Therefore, when there is a difference between the reports, check Super Punch to confirm whether the record is valid, approved, and associated with the correct classification. The Clock Ins Report should be used to review the history of recorded punches, while the Payroll report represents the records effectively considered in the period calculation.
Tips and troubleshooting
The Clock Ins report does not classify the punches nor apply rules; use the Payroll report to see valid punches.
If no data appears, check if you have selected the employee and if there are records in the period.
