Attendance reports allow analysis of attendance, absences, overtime and other critical time‑tracking data.
Day.io groups several reports under the Reports menu, including Time mirror, Frequency sheet, Summary, Extra hours, Hour bank and Electronic signatures.
Each has its own filters and export options. This article explains how to consult, generate and download these reports.
Access the list of reports
In the sidebar, click the Reports icon. A drop‑down lists all available reports.
Choose the desired report (e.g., Time mirror, Frequency sheet, Summary, Extra hours, Hour bank or Electronic signatures).
Select employees and filters
Use the search field to pick employees or leave blank for all.
Adjust the date range using the period selector (month or custom range).
Click the filter icon to enable options such as showing inactive employees or hiding supervisors.
Generate the report
Press Generate to display data. Some reports (Time mirror and Frequency sheet) require selecting a specific employee to enable the button.
Customize columns
Click the column icon to choose the fields to display. Each report offers different columns (e.g., absences, delays, overtime, customer data).
Download the report
Use the download icon to select the format (CSV, PDF or XLSX). Some reports have Download report for all to bulk‑generate files for all employees.
In download windows, define the period, select columns and options (include inactive employees, hide supervisors, merge files).
Other actions available through Reports
Downloads center: In the reports list, choose Downloads center to access inconsistency and validation reports.
Adjust hour bank: On the Hour bank report, click Adjust bank to credit or debit hours for an employee; fill in employee, date, hours and reason.
Tips or troubleshooting
Some reports require a specific employee selection to enable Generate (Time mirror and Frequency sheet).
If the table is empty, check whether there are records for the period or if filters hide the data.
Exports respect visible columns; adjust column selection before downloading.
