The Extra hours report displays overtime worked beyond each employee’s scheduled shift. It helps HR managers analyze overtime balances, calculation phases, and discounts.
Accessible to users with the Reports module, the report requires configured Schedules.
Open the extra hours report
In the sidebar, click Reports and choose Extra hours.
Filter controls appear at the top: employee search, filter icon, date range, and buttons.
Choose employees
Use the All employees field to search and select employees. If none are selected, the report includes all employees.
Set the period
Use the month selector to pick the reporting period (e.g., Mar 01–31).
Apply additional filters
Click the filter icon to toggle options: Show inactive employees, Hide rates with balance 0, Hide employees with balance 0, Hide all supervisors.
Generate and clear
Click Generate to display results.
Use Reset to clear filters and reset the search.
Customize columns
Click the column icon to open the selection menu.
Choose which fields to display, such as Name, Overtime rates, Worked, Missing hours, Extra hours, Debit hours, Fixed hours, On call.
Export the report
Click the download icon to choose the format: CSV, PDF, or XLSX.
Select the desired format to export the file.
Tips or troubleshooting
When exporting, ensure the selected columns are sufficient; PDF/XLSX exports respect visible columns.
If no overtime exists for the period, the table will remain empty even after generating.

Use CSV exports for deeper analysis in spreadsheets.
Review overtime regularly to adjust hour banks and avoid discrepancies.
