With Banked hours conversion enabled, employees can request to convert a portion of their accrued bank into paid overtime.
This article explains how to submit the request from the computer and the mobile app.
Key actions or configuration
- Open New Request
- From the side menu, go to Absence & Vacation and select New Request.
- Click Banked hours conversion.
- Fill in the form
- Employee: managers select the employee; employees will see their own name.
- Date: choose the reference date.
- Phase: after defining the date and employee, choose the Banked Hours phase which the hours will be converted. The system displays the Cumulated bank (available hours) for that phase.
- To convert: enter the number of hours you wish to convert to payment.
- Comments: explain why you are converting hours.
- Submit the request
- Click Confirm.
- The request status becomes Pending until approved (following the configured Approval Flow for this type of request).
Tips or Troubleshooting
- If Cumulated bank shows zero, you cannot submit the request.
- Consult your internal policy on conversion limits.
