Analytics brings together indicators for Schedules, Hours Bank, Overtime, absences, delays, breaks, absence requests, and punch irregularities.
The information displayed depends on the module accessed, the filters applied, and the metrics selected in each card. Therefore, before comparing values, always confirm:
- The period being analyzed;
- The employees included;
- The team, department, branch, or cost center selected;
- The metric being used;
- Whether the card displays a total, average, number of days, or percentage.
Important: Analytics data is updated every 3 hours. Recent punches, adjustments, or approvals may not yet appear in the cards.
1. Access Analytics and apply filters
To analyze the metrics:
- In the sidebar, go to Analytics;
- Select the dashboard related to the analysis you want to perform;
- In the FILTERS panel, click the + icon;
- Add the required filters, such as:
- Date;
- Employee;
- Team;
- Department;
- Branch;
- Cost center;
- Supervisor.
- Wait for the cards to update;
- Expand the desired card to view more details;
- Use Show to choose the metrics or columns that will be displayed;
- Use Filter to apply filters only to the expanded card.
Global filters affect all cards on the dashboard. Filters applied within a card affect only that specific view.
2. Understand the difference between dimensions and metrics
When customizing a card, information can be separated into:
- Dimensions: organize or group data, such as Date, Employee, Team, Department, or Day Type;
- Metrics: display calculated values, such as Worked Hours, Overtime, Absences, or Hours Bank.
Example:
- When using Employee as a dimension and Overtime as a metric, the card displays the total Overtime separated by employee;
- When using Date as a dimension and Positive Hours Bank for the Day as a metric, the card displays how much positive bank was generated on each date.
3. Day and Schedule planning metrics
Total Days
Displays the total number of days considered after the filters are applied.
Planned Days
Shows how many days had a planned Schedule for the employees being analyzed.
Worked Days
Shows the number of days on which work was considered during the period.
Unplanned Days
Shows how many days did not have a planned Schedule.
This metric can be combined with Worked Hours or Overtime to analyze activities performed outside the plan.
Planned Hours
Displays the total hours planned by the employees' Schedules during the selected period.
Worked Hours
Displays the total hours effectively worked and considered during the period.
Planned vs. Actual
Compares planned hours with the hours actually worked.

Negative Hours Bank for the Day
Shows the negative hours generated each day.
Example:
- The employee was expected to work 8 hours;
- They worked 7 hours;
- According to the applicable rules, the day generated -01:00 in the Hours Bank.
Accumulated Hours Bank
Shows the employee's accumulated balance considering the Hours Bank period configured in their Pay Policy.
The Accumulated Hours Bank does not necessarily represent only the period selected in the Analytics filter.
Example:
- The Analytics filter considers only June;
- The employee's Hours Bank period started in April;
- The Accumulated Hours Bank may include the balance generated since the beginning of the period configured in the Pay Policy.
Accumulated Hours Bank - Ranges
Displays the accumulated Hours Bank separated by the ranges or phases configured in the Pay Policy.
This metric allows you to analyze in which ranges the balance was generated instead of viewing only the total accumulated balance.
Positive Bank Balance
Displays only the positive portion of the accumulated balance.
Negative Bank Balance
Displays only the negative portion of the accumulated balance.
Average Hours Bank
Displays the average Hours Bank within the group of employees or records considered in the card.
Average Accumulated Hours Bank

This metric is different from Average Hours Bank, which considers the bank movement analyzed in the period or card being used.
Hours bank ABS
Displays the Hours Bank volume using absolute values, without offsetting positive values against negative ones.
Example:
- Employee A: +05:00;
- Employee B: -03:00;
- The net result would be +02:00;
- The absolute volume would be 08:00.
This metric can be used to analyze the total volume of movements, regardless of whether the balance is positive or negative.
Hours Bank between 02 and 04 hours
Identifies Hours Bank balances or occurrences within the 2-to-4-hour range, according to the card being used.
Hours Bank greater than 04 hours
Identifies balances or occurrences greater than 4 Hours Bank hours, according to the card being used.
Hours Deducted from Hours Bank
Displays the hours deducted from the Hours Bank during the analyzed period.
Use the date and employee filters to identify when and for whom the deductions occurred.
5. How to view only the Hours Bank generated during the month
To analyze how much bank each employee generated during a specific month without considering the accumulated balance:
- Access the dashboard related to Hours Bank;
- Expand the card you want to use;
- Apply the Date filter using the first and last day of the month;
- Use Employee as the dimension;
- Select one of the following metrics:
- Hours Bank, to view the period result;
- Positive Hours Bank for the Day, to view credits only;
- Negative Hours Bank for the Day, to view debits only.
- Do not use Accumulated Hours Bank when the goal is to analyze only the movements generated during that month;
- Download the data when the card displays the download option.
Example:
To analyze June, select the period from 06/01 to 06/30 and use Hours Bank, Positive Hours Bank for the Day, or Negative Hours Bank for the Day.
6. Overtime and additional hours metrics
Overtime
Displays the total hours classified as Overtime during the selected period.
Overtime - Ranges
Separates Overtime by the ranges or phases configured in the Pay Policy.

06 hrs worked without break
Identifies days on which 6 hours of work were performed without a recorded or considered break.
Break shorter than 15min on a 4hr Schedule
Identifies situations where the break taken was shorter than 15 minutes on a 4-hour Schedule.
Days with Pending Break
Shows the number of days with at least one break with Pending status.
Before analyzing the result, check whether the day's Schedule has already ended and whether the employee's Exit was recorded and approved.
10. Cross Shifts metrics
Cross Shifts refers to the rest period between the end of one Schedule and the beginning of the next. This rest period must be at least 11 hours.
When the employee rests for less than 11 hours, the system calculates the difference between the minimum rest period and the rest actually taken.
Example:
- Minimum rest: 11:00;
- Actual rest: 10:00;
- Rest deficit: 01:00.
In this scenario, 01:00 of Cross Shifts was generated.
Cross Shifts Hours
Displays the rest deficit compared with the minimum 11-hour period.
The calculation considers:
11 minimum rest hours − actual rest
Example:
- The employee ended one Schedule at 22:00;
- Started the next Schedule at 08:00;
- The actual rest period was 10:00;
- The Cross Shifts Hours metric will display 01:00.
If the employee rests for 11 hours or more, there will be no Cross Shifts deficit for that period.
Total Cross Shifts
Displays the number of occurrences in which the rest between two Schedules was shorter than the minimum 11 hours.
Example:
- On three occasions, the employee had rest periods of 10:00, 09:30, and 11:00;
- The first two situations generate Cross Shifts;
- The 11-hour rest does not generate a deficit;
- Total Cross Shifts will be two occurrences.
Cross Shifts - Ranges
Displays Cross Shifts Hours separated by the calculation ranges configured in the Pay Policy.
Example:
- The employee generated a 01:00 rest deficit;
- This hour will be distributed among the ranges configured for the Cross Shifts calculation;
- The card may display the values separately according to the rules applied.
Inverse Cross Shift
Displays the inverse calculation of Cross Shifts Hours. Instead of showing the deficit remaining to reach 11 hours, the metric displays the actual rest period between Schedules.
Example:
- Minimum rest: 11:00;
- Actual rest: 10:00;
- Cross Shifts Hours: 01:00;
- Inverse Cross Shift: 10:00.
Therefore:
- Cross Shifts Hours shows how much was missing to complete 11 hours;
- Inverse Cross Shift shows how long the employee actually rested.
When analyzing these metrics, check the end time of the previous Schedule and the start time of the next one.
11. On Call and Night Shift metrics
On Call
Displays the total hours classified as an On Call period.
On Call - Activation
Displays the hours during which the employee was called during the On Call period.
On Call without activation
Displays the On Call period excluding hours when an activation occurred.
Night Shift 20%
Displays the hours classified in the 20% night range according to the applicable rules.

12. Punch and irregularity metrics
Pending Punches
Displays the number of punches still awaiting approval.
Invalid Punches
Displays the number of punches classified as invalid.
Approved Punches
Displays the number of approved punches.
Selected Punches
Displays the number of punches considered according to the selection and filters used in the card.
Days with Pending Punches
Shows the number of days with at least one punch with Pending status.
Days with Invalid Punches
Shows the number of days with at least one invalid punch.
Days with Odd Punches
Shows the number of days that have an odd number of punches considered by the metric.
An odd number may indicate that a punch is missing to complete a work period or break.
Example:
- Entry;
- Break start;
- Break return;
- No Exit punch.
In this case, the day has three punches and should be reviewed.
Days with Approved Odd Punches
Shows the number of days in which the number of approved punches is odd.
This metric specifically considers the number of punches that have already been approved.
Example:
- The day has four punches;
- Three are approved;
- One remains Pending;
- The day may be included in this metric because it has three approved punches.
This analysis helps identify Schedules that may still be incomplete even when some records have already been approved.
13. Other available metrics
Number of employees
Displays the number of distinct employees considered by the card filters.
Schedule Exception
Displays occurrences related to exceptions applied to the Schedule during the analyzed period.

Displays hours classified by Analytics as supplementary within the selected period and employees.
14. How to interpret totals, averages, and percentages
Metrics with similar names may display different results:
- Total: adds all hours or occurrences;
- Days with: counts how many days presented a specific condition;
- Average: displays the average value within the group considered by the metric;
- Percentage: displays the proportion compared with the analyzed total;
- Ranges: separates the result according to configured rules or phases;
- Accumulated: considers the accumulated balance within the corresponding period;
- For the Day: displays only the result generated on each date;
- Approved: specifically considers records that already have this status.
Example:
- Delay Hours: adds 10 minutes and 20 minutes, resulting in 30 minutes;
- Total Delays: displays 2 occurrences;
- Average Delay Hours: displays 15 minutes.
Tips or troubleshooting
- The card does not display data: expand the period and review all global and internal filters.
- The result differs from a report: check whether the period, employees, and metric being used are the same.
- A recent adjustment still does not appear: wait for the Analytics update, which occurs every 3 hours.
- Accumulated Hours Bank differs from the bank for the month: the accumulated balance considers the Hours Bank period configured in the Pay Policy. To view only the month, use daily or period metrics.
- The total differs from the average: confirm whether the card uses a sum, average, percentage, or number-of-days metric.
- Values appear for employees who should not be included: review the Team, Department, Branch, and Supervisor filters.
- The value appears incomplete: check whether there are punches or requests pending approval.
- I cannot find a specific metric: some measures are available only in specific dashboards or cards.
- Some metrics have English names: keep the name displayed on the platform and check the card context before using them in an export.
- A day with four punches appears under approved odd punches: check the status of each punch. The day may have four records in total but only three approved.
- A break metric shows an unexpected result: confirm the planned Schedule, actual times, and duration considered by the card.
Best practices
- Always apply the Date filter before comparing results.
- Use the same metric and the same filters in every comparison.
- Differentiate period movement from accumulated balance.
- Combine Employee, Team, or Department with hour metrics to identify where results are concentrated.
- Review pending punches and requests before closing.
- Wait for Analytics to update after making corrections.
- Export data when you need to review detailed results in a spreadsheet.
- Record which filters were used when sharing an analysis with others.
- When comparing similar metrics, check whether one considers hours, days, occurrences, averages, or only approved records.
Frequently asked questions
