The Analytics dashboards in Day.io provide strategic insights into absenteeism, overtime, banked hours, missing days and other workforce metrics.
They consolidate multiple modules—such as Absenteeism, Supervisors summary, Banked Hours, Vacation & Absence requests, Missing Days, Irregularities and more.
Managers and HR analysts use these dashboards to monitor productivity, spot trends and make informed decisions.
Key actions or configuration
- Open a dashboard in Analytics
- From the left‑hand menu, click Analytics.
- Choose the desired module (for example, Absenteeism, Extra Hours, etc.).
- The dashboard appears with cards, charts and summary tables.
- Add filters to refine your view
- On the left, locate the FILTERS panel and click the + icon.
- Select a filter type: Date, ID, Position, Team, Departament, Cost center, Subsidiary, Supervisor and others. Use the scroll bar on the right to see the full list.
- Choose the desired values; the dashboard updates automatically.

- Navigate cards and charts
- Each card displays an indicator (for example, absenteeism percentage or overtime hours for the month) and shows an arrow indicating an increase or decrease.
- Use the icons in the upper‑right corner of a card to expand the view or download the data.
- Some cards contain double arrows; click them to switch views or open additional details.
- Explore interactive tables
- Tables allow you to sort columns by clicking the header.
- Use the horizontal scroll bar to see all columns such as Planned Hours, Worked Hours, Absences and Delays.
- Tip: click a column header to sort descending and quickly identify teams or employees with the highest values.

- Export data (when available)
- Some cards and tables display a download icon in the upper‑right corner; click it to download data as a CSV or spreadsheet.
- If the export feature is not available, no download icon is shown.

- If a chart displays no data, verify that records exist for the selected period and that filters are not too restrictive.
- The FILTERS panel may collapse; scroll to the top of the page if you cannot find it.
- If specific filter fields are missing or data appears inconsistent, contact customer success for assistance.
- The dashboard data is updated every 3 hours. Therefore, please wait if the information is not up to date.
