Day.io’s supervisor dashboards (found under Analytics) give team leaders real‑time insights into workforce performance.
Each dashboard contains interactive cards and tables showing metrics such as planned vs. executed schedules, extra hours, absences and irregularities.
Supervisors only see data for employees they manage. To access, hover over Analytics in the side menu and select the desired dashboard.
This article presents four of the main dashboards that supervisors can use to monitor these indicators.
Key actions
- Open the Team’s operations dashboard
- In the side menu, choose Analytics → Team’s operations.
- The dashboard shows cards like Schedule – Planned vs Executed, Pending punches, Invalid punches, Pending requests, Total vacation days, Days with medical leave, Request categories and Weekly approved requests.
- Use Filters (the
+icon) to add criteria such as Date, Position, Team or Supervisor.
- Open the Extra hours dashboard
- Select Analytics → Extra hours.
- Cards and tables include Extra hours [Current month], Extra hours – Ranges [Current month], Extra hours [Current year], Extra hours history and Top departments [Current month].
- Filters let you view overtime and banked hours per employee, team or department.
- Open the Missing days dashboard
- Navigate to Analytics → Missing days.
- Analyse indicators like Missing days [Current month], Missing days [This year], Missing days % history, and tables of Missing days % – Teams/Departments/Employees [Current month].
- Open the Irregularities breakdown dashboard
- Choose Analytics → Irregularities breakdown.
- Cards show Days with missing hours, Days with absence requests, Days with additional hours, Absences and more.
Other available actions
- Download data – each card or table has icons to expand or download data as CSV.
- Advanced filters – the same date, employee and team filters appear on all dashboards.
Tips / Troubleshooting
- If a card displays no data, adjust the filters to include the correct date range or team.
- Access to dashboards requires supervisor permissions; contact your administrator if you cannot see them.
- Keep punch records and leave requests up to date for accurate metrics.
