The Permissions module allows you to create custom access profiles, specifying which areas of the system a role can access and which actions it can perform.
You can also grant additional permissions to specific employees, teams, departments, branches or cost centers. Only Administrators or higher can manage permissions.
Access Permissions
Click the user avatar (top right) and select Company Settings.
Go to the Permissions tab to view all existing roles.
Edit a permission role
In the left panel, select a role (e.g., Supervisor, Basic, Admin).
On the right, check or uncheck modules and actions allowed. For example, you can allow Add employees, Deactivate employees, Assign employees to groups and positions, etc.
Click Save if the option has sub-permissions. If it doesn't, just check the box and wait for the confirmation message.
Create a new role
Click New role in the left panel.
Enter a name for the new role and configure the desired modules and actions.
Assign additional permissions to employees
Go to People and open an employee profile.
In Permission roles, click + Add Permission Role.
In the side panel, select the Permission role to grant.
Choose who it applies to: People, Teams, Departments, Subsidiaries or Cost center. To apply to the entire company, tick All company.
Click Apply to finish.
Review assigned permissions
The employee’s Permission roles section lists all extra permissions assigned.
To remove one, click the trash icon (if available).
Tips or troubleshooting
Use existing roles as templates to avoid granting excessive access.
Removing an extra permission revokes all associated rights—review carefully before deletion.

Create separate roles for team leaders, HR and finance.
Document permission changes for future audits.
