The Day.io Kiosk is a tablet app that works as a digital time clock installed in the workplace. It allows employees to record entries, breaks, and exits quickly through facial recognition, without physical time clocks or paper receipts.
To use it, the administrator must enable the feature, generate the company token, and authorize each employee to use the tablet with facial recognition.

- Enable Kiosk use in the panel
- In the side menu, go to Attendance.
- Click the Settings gear icon.
- In Allow employees to clock in using, select Tablet. Then scroll down and check the Enable the Facial Recognition option.
- The blue mark indicates that the method is active.
- The Tablet section displays the company token.
- Click Save.

- Install and configure the app on the tablet
- On the tablet, download the Day.io Kiosk app from the app store.
- Open the app for the first time.
- Enter the company token generated in the previous step.
- The device will be linked to the company.
- Keep the tablet connected to the internet for continuous synchronization.
- Authorize the employee to clock in through the tablet (for individual cases)
- Go to People.
- Search for and select the employee.
- Open the Punch Settings tab in the employee profile.
- Under Allow employees to clock in using, select the Tablet icon.
- In Tablet, check the Enable the Facial Recognition option.
- Choose the Kiosk Access ID.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.

- If the token does not appear, confirm that Kiosk (tablet) was enabled in punch settings.
- If facial recognition fails, ask the employee to center their face in front of the camera.
- Confirm that Activate Facial Recognition is enabled.
- Changes only apply after clicking Save.
